A256 byte serial EEPROM on board can be used to store module information such as timing, configuration, density, etc. This memory module is 1GByte and organized as a 128MX64 array using (16) 64MX8 (4 internal banks) lead-free DDR3 SDRAMs in BGA packages. All memory modules are fabricated using the latest technology design, eight-layer printed circuit board substrate construction with low ESR decoupling capacitors on-board for high reliabilityand low noise.
