Lab-quality prints
Unlike inkjet printers using dot reproduction, this printer uses refined Sony Dye Sublimation technology. This ingenious process applies layers of color dye to create continuous tone images. Compared to inkjet printing that uses only single-color dots to print, dye sublimation printing realizes 256 gradations in each of three colors to make 16.77 million possible colors.

Keep your treasured photos in an album for 100 years thanks to Super Coat 2. This unique Sony lamination process is applied in the final step of the printing process and not only protects photos from color shift and fading, but also makes your print resistant to water, heat and fingerprints.
