The LG 55LE8500 is afull high definition 55 inch LED LCD television. LED technology allows for much higher dynamic contrast ratios which results in deeper, truer blacks than standard LCD televisions and what is widely regarded as a richer, higher quality picture. This television introduces LG's Full LED Slim technology that allows for the increased picture quality aswell as a very slim, borderless design. Full LED Slim additionally improves picture quality by utilizes over 200 addressable segments on the screen, adjusting each for optimal performance as displayschange. Internet connectivity is also a focus of the system, with DLNA capability for interaction with other DLNA certified devices, and a Ethernet jack for wired or wireless options.
