With powerful embeddedsoftware, the ReadyNAS Duo makes storing and accessing your personal digital photo collection a snap. Simply connect any USB-enabled digital camera (cameras produced since 2005) to the front-mounted USB port on the ReadyNAS Duo. Then set the camera to automatically copy your digital pictures into the ReadyNAS. The ReadyNAS Duo RND2000 is shipped without disk drive. Just select a hard drive from the ReadyNAS Hardware compatibility List to build the network storage. Add an optional second hard disk drive and the ReadyNAS Duo can create a duplicate copy of all your stored pictures. In the eventof a disk failure, the backup copy on the second disk drive is still available. After storing the photos, the ReadyNAS Duo automatically resizes the images and creates a web page that can be shared with friends and family across the Internet (routerand broadband connection required for Internet-sharing capabilities).
